CANARA BANK RELIEF & WELFARE SOCIETY

Mathruchhaya – meaning “ protective shade of mother”, was started in the year 1965.

This has given rise to different projects such as :

Adoption - finding homes for orphaned children.

Foster Care - non - institutional care for institutionalised children.

Sponsorship - giving financial help for deserving students from economically weaker sections of the society, to pursue studies.

Counselling - per - adoption and post-adoption counselling, child guidance, family counselling and rehabilitation of differently abled people

Balwadi Centre - providing day care service for children of the employees.

Day Care Centre - providing day care service for children of the employees.

Out - reach services - the society has also provided Facilities and amenities for functioning of outreach Centre of spastic society of Karnataka and Helping Hand Counselling Centre.
